it's NOT october yet...
So don't get mad when I say I want to change my October book choice. I figure I only get one chance to choose a book every (however many people are in our book club) and I'm not in love with my choice. It's not that I don't want to read it, cause I do. And I will. But I just think I want a change of pace after Captain Blood (A really fun book). Instead of something slightly similar that feels too similar, and therefore boring. So in order to keep us from being bored and to let Robinson Caruso get the full and undivided attention it deserves, I REALLY want to change books.
i know I'm a fickle woman, and I SHOULD have thought of this before I posted my book choice on the blog. And hopefully none of you have BOUGHT it yet, but is it too late?
let's take a vote. is it too late?
vote "yes it's too late, crazy lady. stick with your first choice and get on with life"
or vote "no go ahead and change it. we still gots time".
Maybe it will help, if I tell you the book I'm thinking of. It's called The Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler. I found it in the freebie bin, and I'm gonna read it either way. It looks really fun and got good reviews. So...
can we switch or not? Vote... now.
thanks

after much diliberation
I'm sure some of you may have read it, If there are any objections to this one let me know and I can pick another book instead. But I am fascinated to read a novel that is regarded as the first novel written in the English language. It's kind of on the same wave-length as Captain Blood, well at least as for as I know. Sorry for the redundancy, but I think we'll like it.
anyways let me know if this works for you ladies.
