The Crucible

So, I finished the play last night. I saw a few acts of this play in high school and still remember thinking what a powerful play this was even at 16, so I was happy this play was chosen. Arthur Miller is such an awesome playwright. "Death of a Salesman" is one of my favorite plays...again, super powerful. He does an amazing job taking a complex and oftentimes far off situation and creating a real story for all of us to relate to and take away some sort of lesson. We empathize with these characters even though we do not live during their time or have lives anything like their own. So what did you gals think? I am unaware of this "camping" expedition, but I still would love to talk about it, or watch Laurence Olivier's classic performance in this play. Isn't it always crazy how the most "Christian" people are always the most judgmental people? Anyway, loved it. What's up for November?

Hey Ladies!

I just found out that you can 'borrow' the eBook version of the crucible on the Hawaii Library website. All you have to do is download some Adobe reader program...they have a pretty simple step-by-step guide on how to get started. It's a great alternative to driving down to the library with all the kiddos :)

it is october, and i figured with Halloween coming up and all...

it is a pretty quick read and it's a play, but the storyline is easy to follow. think Shakespeare in plain english, sorta.

let me know what you think.

FOR example: I had watermelon the other day that had a hint of lime drizzled on it...so yummy. Or you could stash some crasins in a brownie...yeah don't do that.

ambrose is a character......... cant say im thrilled about his name in this story...... you'll see why when you read it. haha

it's very gripping and suspenseful for sure! i enjoyed it.
