This Month's Book: Man's Search for Meaning.

This is by far my favorite book of all time. I'm not going to lie, it's heavy at first, but it quickly turns itself into a study of triumph and is INCREDIBLY inspirational.

I feel a little bit strange hosting a get together, when I've never actually been to one. :) If any of this sounds different than the norm for you guys, let me know and we'll change it around.

for the next few months

i just wanted to draw everyones attention to the order of appearance list. i changed it up a little bit. i wanted to add natalie in and i thought steph r could use a little break for a month. so i just scooted everyone down a month. so take a look and be thinking of the book you would like to share with the rest of us.

june book

well hello ladies! it's been a long time. I have the choice for June, and since I am currently reading the The China Study By T. Colin Campbell...that is my choice for June. It's a really interesting read and I highly recommend it. It gets you thinking.

since it was going to be just me and like 1 other person i decided to cancel.

book club tonight will be at OHANA VIDEO in laie and not at echo's house. sorry if this causes confusion but it is better than meeting in the sauna, otherwise known as my house.

how does next wednesday night work for everyone? that would be may 27th. i know we usually meet on tuesday nights but since so many of us are in the sewing class i thought that wednesday would work better. 8 pm at my house. let me know if this works for you, if not we can change it to a thursday night or something.

how is everyone enjoying the book? i know westerns may not exactly be everyones cup of tea, but i thought it would be fun to break away from the mold. plus the book is such a quick easy read. it is like your grandpa is telling you stories.

if you haven't read it yet and would like too i have two copies. both are loaned out right now, one to liko and one to betsy, but i am sure they will be done soon. let me know, or just ask them to borrow when they are done.
