this morning echo and i were talking about the to kill a mockingbird party and it is indeed less than a week from today! so write this down wherever you write down important things to remember:
When: Tuesday November 25, 2008
Time: 8 PM
Place: Stephanie Robertson's (call her or ask a friend in the know if you dont know where that is)
What are we doing: watching the movie and eating southern comfort food!
echo is making homemade mac and cheese
ashley is making really good cornbread
stephanie robertson is thinking about picking up some fried chicken
and since it is 8PM at night this is more for fun than for dinner so we dont need much else.
anyone want to bring like baked beans or fruit or drinks? or something else southern that i am forgetting about?
let me know! please come (even if you didnt read the book- we just want to party) it will be fun!

ummm, is key lime pie southern? if it's not, then i can bring drinks... (count on me to bring the high-calorie FAT food!)
oh i say key lime pie is most certainly southern!! bring it!! (and be prepared to fight thomas for a piece... it's his absolute favorite and he looks thin but he's strong!!)
ooohhh, you know what else i wanna try making? fried green tomatoes.
key lime pie sounds so good!!
i have never had fried green tomatoes. but i liked the movie. i would like to try them though.
sounds good! I can bring lemonade. isn't that southern?
YES YES it is!! apparently i was very enthusiastic and needed some caps to express that. :)
ok so we have: mac n cheese, corn bread, fried chicken, key lime pie and lemonade... sounds perfecto!
i think i will ask stef j if she wants to bring corn on the cobb and matti is coming later since jonathon doesnt get home til 9 so she may be off the hook food wise.
oh liko - didnt even see your comment! yes, bring those too if you so desire- wow! WOW this is gonna be AWESOME. :)
i'm down with corn-on-the-cob!
however, being from the south, i might have to bring and additional something else a tad more illustrious, just to REPRESENT
oh yes - PULEASE DO!!!! we will l-o-v-e it. :)
