okay, so who cares if you didn't read the book. it is a really great story, though, and i recommend that you read it at some point in your lives, if not now...
i was wondering what night would be best for ya'll to meet. how about next thursday, jan. 22, 8-ish at my house? and did you want to watch the movie or just talk? or we could combine it with Echo's Pampered Chef party. please let me know what would work best...and we can bring a snack to share, too. it has to be kosher, though.
haha, just kidding. if you don't get it, it has to do with the book...
hope to be able to see all your faces soon!

Christmas Carol
I did already get the book from the library, but I was looking something up online about it when this site came up.
It has the full text on line and it's free. In case you don't have a copy, just read it from home. =)

(key) lime pie recipe
1 - 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
3 large egg yolks
1/2 cup lime juice
2 tsp. grated lime zest
whipped topping:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 Tbsp. granulated white sugar
Whip egg yolks until they are pale and fluffy. Slowly add the condensed milk, beating to keep mixture fluffy. Stir in the lime juice and zest. Pour into a prepared graham cracker and butter pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until set. Let cool. Refrigerate and top with whipped topping before serving. Enjoy!
(side note -- i never saw the key limes at foodland, so i used regular Persian limes in the one i made at our 'to kill a mockingbird' gathering. ya'll liked it, so use whatever limes you can find!)
